What shape was this lens represented to be in when you purchased it from
Cameta, Oben? Any problems returning it? Did they pick up the return
shipping charge?

I checked the photocopied reciept of the 'fungus farm' 50 f1.2 that I
bought off and subsequently returned to Cameta on the 14/5/2001. THIS IS
THE SAME LENS, obviously has probably been cleaned but I had it looked at
professionally and the verdict was that the fungus removal had a high
likelihood of damaging or removing the coating entirely.
They've knocked $20 off the price I had paid... not a good sign.
