Obviously it was stolen.
I was thinking the same thing... Unless the camera store AND the original
owner miraculously made a gross undervaluation of this item. That's why I
wrote that I _can_ understand the camera store making such a mistake (after
all, to err is human), but I'd be very surprised if someone who had splashed
out some $1400 for this lens when first bought, then sells it for
(substantially?) less than $179...
Anyway, time to get back to work here...
