If your picture is only for web use, then digital camera may be good
enough. But if you want quality prints you need a good quality
scanner. I can't sit there waiting for a digital camera with at least
3000x2000 pixels (3CCDs equivalent not single CCD with small among of
color elements to "estimate the color") low noise CCD, 12 bit AD
convertor, interchangeable lens or a zoom from 21-200mm come up. Also,
very important, I need a short shutter time lag that is at least like
the E-10 (100ms).
