Just back from a 7 day trip to Japan and now catching up with the emails,
for fixing the reflex mirror, I had the experience of a four days old
Minolta 600si with mirror fall out. I tried some glues including the contact
cement, finally I was pretty sure the glue originally used was "silicone
sealant" that used for glass adhesion. You need the black color one,
otherwise the color will show up on the mirror as it is semi-transparent. I
have the 600si mirror fixed for three years without any problem.
