True... but the photo *I* gave the highest marks to was a B&W - the cotton
field laborer, followed closely by another B&W, and in 3rd place... a B&W.
:-) Not because they share the medium (well, maybe a _little_) but because
of the power of the images themselves. For me, anyway.

The vast majority of my own B&W's are infra-red and require a fair amount of
pre-shot planning, then careful processing and finally, printing. Often
hours of printing. Days even, coming back after letting it rest for awhile,
so I can see it better.

For me, central to the appeal of ADITL is that it's more spontaneous and
allows me to 'just fool around', shoot some chromes, and get on with it.
It's a real pleasure not having to be so da** serious about my efforts &
outcomes, from time to time. :-)

OM Content: the accuracy of the 4T meter and it's inclusion of "highlites
and shadows" buttons make Zone work nearly simplistic. You still have to do
the calibration and all, but the system is a serious contender. And I own
N*k*n F5 (for the autofocus and fill flash) but wouldn't consider it for
Zone work or loooooong exposures... it's just not as good.
