   You and Will address an issue I never approached, never said or
imagined. I do not consider my M6 an "upgrade" (Nor my F4s) from Olympus.

Ack, Doris, I in no way intended to contradict your posts! I very much agree
with almost everything you've said on this subject, sorry if I have not made
this clear. I never assumed you postulated that Leica is an upgrade from
Olympus! I don't consider it so. My point was similar to yours (I believe)
in that they are both excellent systems, each has their strengths. My
comments cited above were separate, and meant to compliment the quality and
philosophy behind both systems by relating them to the philosophy by which I
attempt to live.

BTW, I certainly prefer the OM-3 and 4 (T, Ti, etc) over the current Leica
R8. While a capable instrument, I found the R8 to be heavy, clumsy, and just
inelegant.
