I went looking in the archives for my own responses about circular
polarizers (so I could steal the explanation), and found one of them,
but not my more recent one. Is there a delay before messages get archived,
or do messages sometimes fail to make it to the archive?
(Not that my message was a priceless gem -- I'm just curious.)
