I had the near eq. Tokina 150-500/5.6. It was good on film. On the APS-C Canon 60D, it was a complete disaster. I don't
know why, some sort of interaction between lens and sensor?
I tried everything, heavy tripod, IS off, careful, magnified focus. Soft, smeary photos."Atmospheric" is the best that
could be said of the better ones.
I sold it before going µ4/3.
Tamron and 4/3 maybe fine.
