I notice subject size change in my stacks, using focus, but helicon focus does
not seem to have a problem and combines them just fine.

The other advantage of the remote is it removes the need to touch the camera,
or a rail. My new Voigtlander 110mm, being all manual, of course does not work,
except helping to release the shutter. The long focus throw of that lens helps.

The BT remote focus also does not seem to work with metabones adapted canyon
180mm macro, even though it is autofocus capable. Could be the user issue.

On the Zony A7's I use the manual mode toggle in camera, and not the lens MF
switch, as that disables focus control. Assigned to a button.

I first saw use of the BT remote on a FM discussion of how people do stacked
panoramas.

What I like most about the stacking method is ability to use wider F-stop,
rendering the background bokeh better. F11 bokeh is hit or miss, hence best
used when including the distance, as in Mike's great shot. Ahh digital, the
ability to easily take 36 shots and stack them.
