I had what looked like small electronic flashes going off in the corner of my left eye. A sign of possible detached retina. Floaters came with this. the floaters faded away and the flashing stopped, as predicted by my eye specialist.

Chris,
Looking back at your original post it would seem you have had a recent
uptick in visual floaters. If you have never had them before but are now
having multiple floaters, I would strongly recommend you have a retinal
exam. Also, you *are* at risk for glaucoma, everyone is at risk. It is
usually in older persons but I've know plenty of people who came down with
it in their 40's. It is usually asymptomatic, thus regular ocular pressure
checks (about every two years) are recommended.

Chris, Get your BLOODY EYES CHECKED !!!
I went for my usual eye test in the summer To be told I have "Age related
Macular
Degeneration" I did not see that coming. I assumed that the Wobbly
verticals and
horizontals that I sometimes experienced were the result of my glasses
distorting
my field of vision. Worryingly my optician had not informed me
...assuming I had
already been told. My (controlled ) Diabetic review simply stated " no
eye changes
due to diabetes" which did not tell the full story. It is not a great
issue at
present but can only get worse !!Your eyesight is precious, You really
need to
take care.

I did run across an item online yesterday that mentioned something
remotely similar, but it was related to glaucoma. I'm definitely not in
danger of that.

An interesting effect that I noticed of this early this morning is
that when I move my eyes I'm giving off very small flashes of light, which
is reflected in the frame of my glasses. This might be convenient as I
could potentially do away with using a flash. :{D

If it was me, I would talk to a doc. Especially if you haven't been in
awhile. You only have 2 of em.

I haven't seen a doctor in over 20 years. A friend here tells me she
get these once in a while and they go away after a while.
