Yeh,
Lots of good stuff. Firmware update enabled an EFC--labelled as 0sec
anti--shock. Limited to 1/320 or slower.
Wonder if Oly will enable the "super-resolution" multi shot protocol
when the sucessor to E-M5 is released.

Superresolution (SR) has been around for a number of years and more recently example based (from single image) can be combined with the standard multi-image technique relying on sub pixel misallignments for further apparent resolution gains. This depends upon the fact that many images have areas that are very similiar both on the same scale and different scales. Combining techniques reduces the chance of the single image scheme from falsely "hallucinating" details that are not really there.

I am not not sure that Photoacute does this but it might ---as under perfect conditions up to 4Xincrease in apparent resolution noted.

See paper out of the Weizmann Institute:

Perhaps hallucinating that anyone is interested in this on a Fri eve, Mike
