I have no specific knowledge on point.
I will say that my past experience has lead me to believe that McAfee is in league with at least a demon and Norton with
Dumb and Dumber. Both dropped at times in the past when they became so intrusive and processor intensive as to make
actual use of the computer a chore.
Microsoft Security Essentials, MS Malicious software removal tool and ZoneAlarm free firewall have done very well by me
for years. All free.
