So I tried http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/spaetzle
and it worked. I found that I don't remember very well at all what we were
served at Saalbach, but the examples from wikipedia don't look at all like i
remember.
By the way, I remembered the name of the most probably source of
potatoes for the western world.
It is the island named Chiloe.
