Losing weight is great but there can be consequences. There was an
article in the local paper a few days ago about a local man who developed
Type II diabetes after getting up to 300 pounds. His doctor gave him the
death talk and he took it to heart. Drastically cut back on food
consumption, started exercising 2-3 hours per day. Now he is down to....118
pounds...and currently undergoing psychiatric treatment for anorexia
nervosa. At the time of the article he was up to 135 pounds. His doctors
tell him when he gets up to 160 pounds, he can exercise one hour per day.
