Jim,
Most likely it is simply reflecting a different focus spot.  Even though
the lens was largely fixed in the same place, I had to turn off the camera
bodies to change them, so I then would have to re-focus.  I think this
would account for sharpness variances as well as a slight difference of
framing.

As far as the tones go, I am going to experiment with allowing ACR to auto
adjust WB.  For the two shots I posted, I left WB "as shot" in ACR.
 Interestingly, they produced different values on the temperature scale, so
the Auto WB in each camera comes up with a different temperature.

My desire would be to tailor the 410 tones a little closer to those of the
400.
