Hi Moose and Ken,
I'm not trying to emulate the LUG gallery, though it works quite well. But
two features that it uses might be worth considering, if they do not pose
too great a burden on the host system.
The LUG gallery provides 12 thumbnails per page.
The LUG gallery does not keep galleries on a specific page, but moves each
to page 1 when it is updated. This keeps the busiest galleries up front,
which is sometimes helpful.
Just some thoughts to chew on........................
