Ken,

This difference is something I've been trying to understand lately. I
have been wondering if the E-30 is having metering issues, if it's a
jpeg processing issue...just what, exactly, is happening. I have hot
spots in images that I would not expect to have (jpegs), I closely watch
what my camera is telling me in regards to exposure as well, and still,
sometimes, I have images that contain overly bright areas I would not
have expected...on skin, mostly. RAW is not an issue.
I was wondering and hoping someone would bring that up and enlighten me. :-)

The only thing I can tell you with certainty is that when I switched
lenses I did not change anything but the shutter speed to compensate for
going from f2.0 to f2.8.
