I agree, it is a very special lens, unfortunately the panasonic 7-14
doesn't come close (too much flare), I am still looking for something
suitable for the FF canyon but funds are not high and I would like to
see the results of the nikon 12-24/2.8 on my camera first before
buying, 16-9net seems to have died so no reports of how well the nikon
16-35mm f/4 does, I have the eos to nikon G adapter but held off buying
to see how the tokina 16-28 f/2.8 did but don't see any decent reviews
or tests apart from ken rockwells site*.
* and I don't see any alternative to the ZD 7-14 in a different mount,
Ian aka swisspace, who is hoping to gain enthusiasm after breaking his
35-80mm on the India trip, which is sort of repaired but not quite as it
once was.
