Sounds like the visit to Ambergris Caye I had, nice place and people. Yes the
airport is a real kick, we flew over in a Cessna 206 with the stall warning
going off every time the pilot pull the nose up. A very hairy ride indeed. Did
you dive Hol Chan Preserve, it was one of the cuts thru the reef, and buy a
chip before or after leaving. My most curious moment was landing at the airport
in Belize City and seeing the SAM anti-aircraft batteries at each end of the
runway. We don't have those at DFW International, where I work.
