Rumour has it that the new E-A1 is actually another OEM version of the 50D.  
Both are made by Cosina.  The Olympus version is going to be called the E-2000. 
 The only thing to really watch for in this new version is lever on the right 
side which pokes into your face if you happen to be a left-eyed shooter.
