I think the Bogen 055MF3 is in the running---will kill two birds with
one stone and it looks just great for macro. No one really song the
praises of the head leveling Gitzo which does cost a fortune. The
Gitzos do support 12Kg vs 7Kg for the Bogen. I wonder if the Bogen
will handle well with the Tamron 400+tc. The Celestron 750 is quite
light, but the legs would need to be stiff enough.
I won't rule out the Cullmann solution yet.
