Some may recall the "Name this image" thread Bob ran a while ago.
My mail recently brought me a really beautiful print of White on White -
10x13 image on 11x17 paper - WOW!
The new version is a different shot covering about the left half of the
original view of two windows, and stronger, I think.
I already knew that Bob's printmaking skills far exceed what his web
images show, and this is no exception. Subtleties of tone and color are
much better than the web image.
Not only is the print a beauty, even the stamps on the envelope are art,
images of quilts from the "Quilts of Gee's Bend" exhibit and a winter
view of sunset on El Capitan with snow on rocks in the Merced River in
the foreground.
First the lovely images Tom sent for the print exchange, now this. Life
is good!
