After reading your mail I thought that I had better re-check the write speed 
of the E-1 with the Sandisk Extreme III and Ultra II (1GB cards).
I found that writing a full 12-shot buffer of RAW images took 41 seconds 
with the Ultra II, whilst the Extreme III took 31 seconds. So the Extreme 
III is quite significantly faster than the Ultra II in the E-1.
I think that I must have confused the results that I got when testing the 
same cards with my C-7070, where there was no measurable difference.
