And on the same basis I can say that the E-1 *does* gain from using a 2GB
Lexar WA 133x compared to a 2GB SanDisk Ultra II.  The write acceleration
does indeed act as the name suggests.

gains nothing from using a SanDisk Extreme III rather than an Ultra II. The
E-500 and E-330 gain about 50% by using an Extreme III. I believe that the
E-300 shows similar gains. I assume that all later Oly DSLR's also benefit
from the Extreme III. I do not think that the Extreme IV has shown to be an
improvement over the III for any Oly DSLR, and probably not for any other
DSLR as yet...
