This isn't the same OM-2S that you were shooting on Isle Royale with,
is it? That was one nice and shiny camera.

BTW, a side story...

Bill steps away for a minute and leaves his beautiful, flawless,
OM-2S sitting on the picnic table with the rest of us yacking. I
couldn't resist the temptation and swapped out cameras with my
beater. He comes back and when he picked it up and has this puzzled
look on his face while he's trying to process what is wrong.

He was also watching his back the whole week as we all had our eye on
his 7-14. (what a seriously sweet lens).

As to the 85/2, I haven't read the entire thread, but I think the
ultimate bargain lens that provides the best price/performance ratio
in the entire line is the 100/2.8. The 85/2 and 100/2.8 are
essentially the same identical lenses with almost identical bokeh and
sharpness characteristics. The 85/2 quite possibly has the edge in
some circumstances, but the 100/2.8 is the real sleeper lens. It is
THE lens that keeps me in Olympus. Oh, and it sings on the E-1.
