Actually, noise isn't a great issue with me either as I rarely shoot 
over ISO 400 but do shoot a great deal at ISO 400 with flash.  Most 
important to me is fast, accurate autofocus in near dark conditions. 
The 5D does that too and also does it way better than the 20D.
