No difference from the way I look at it, Candace. One is part of the imaging
workflow. The other is part of the post-editing workflow.
The same type of question can also be levelled at B+W. Would it make any
difference if you shoot B+W in camera mode or shoot in colour and then use
software to convert to B+W? This question has raised interesting debates but
for most of us (I think...) even if there were differences, there are so so
so marginal that you'd have to be hawkeyed to see any. By and large to
settle a heated debate, we all fairly much conclude that they are the same.
I only hope that I haven't unearthed a hornet's nest with this topic....
