Fairly stable, thanks God. No fluctuations, but blown outs occur once in a
while, most often in my own home due to a shunt-interruptor (I'm inventing
this word right now since I know of no translation _ we call it
'disyuntora'). I can bypass it, as did with my audio equipment.

I know of it, though no experience.

You wouldn't want to know how much does a Mac Mini cost here, whether intel
based or not. My aim was to buy a PowerBook Pro in the US and make it come
here with the help of a friend of mine at CT. It's easy to travel with a
portable computer, not so with a Mac Mini.
But I have a 12-year daughter and I need a computer for her too, she's being
trained in linux and windows at school. Should those MacBook Pro be coming
without whins or other noises I'd buy one when shipped with 10.5, but I'd
certainly find it hard to let her use it _ for games and msn and virus
protection...

Thanks for answering Bob.

Fernando.
