Probably, but getting closer with the tripod and not bumping
and shaking the bush with the tripod was really hard. I used a
long macro for working distance, and 1.4x for magnification.
A 50mm macro would be fine if it would go 1:1 and I could
get close to the subject. This shot was at 1.4:1 magnification.

I thought DOF was only related to magnification at macro distances.
I'm I wrong in that assumption?

On another note, reading more from the visible dust site.
They suggest that the hygroscopic action of methanol
removes moisture and can make the surface more static.
