Illinois side of the Mississippi, north of Dubuque, which is saying
the same thing as south of Prairie du Chien (pronounced "Prayer da
Sheen" by the locals). As far as the shot is concerned, all I can say
is that it is a strange humility to envy someone else's photo made
with your own lens. Seems like it has something to do with you, but
you can't take credit for any of it.

Ken nearly converted me to a monopod. He's got a fantastic workflow
with that thing and the results certainly speak for themselves. I got
several shots I liked with the Tammy 80-200, but I was definitely
straight-jacketed with the camera stuck on the tripod and no ability
to pan, etc.
