May he rot away in jail if this is true but this is, as of yet, an
unsubstatiated charge on two counts. One, there is yet no proof that he
was the original source of the leak. Two, someone who drives from her
house every morning to CIA headquaters in Langley is hardly a "secret"
agent. I'm sure all of the neighbors (and any one else interested) knew
where she worked and, as the wife of a former US embassador could assume
that she was not likely scrubbing the floors.
When I lived in Northern Virginia I had two neighbors who worked at the
CIA and three at the FBI. There was never any secret about where they
worked, only about exactly what they did or how well they did it.
I used to do radio intercept intel myself when I was in the Air Force
some 40 years ago. The KGB knew exactly who I was and what I did as
they let me know unmistakeably one day in Paris while I was on leave
from Germany. What they didn't know was how well I did it.
