Omega-3 fatty acids in the form of fish oil is very effective in both
lowering total cholesterol and improving the ratio of good to bad. Not
sure of the effect on triglycerides (sp?) Anyway it is a good regime for
reducing marginally high blood levels without the expense of statins.  I
take 3 of the Costco caps daily along with walks with the mutt and OM's .
