I received a reply from the guy who sent me the message. Indeed he is using
a N*kon digital. I gave him the list address. I recommended he post a want
to buy for a 24mm f3.5 shift. Turns out he lives within about 10 miles of
me.

So going by recent history, if you don't own a 24mm shift you shouldn't
really think about going digital?
