Frankly I would hold off on buying a new printer right now until we see
how the Epson R1800 shakes out after a couple months. I have heard it is
coming in with a street price less than the 2200 which makes it very
tempting. Another possibility is to wait and pick up a 2200 (or 1290)
when the price inevitably takes a big drop. Best values are usually on
the back side of the leading wave.
