I always thought it was my inexperience in shooting that I preferred the
ease of the 2S spot metering. All though I would image the multi spot
metering is an advantage, if the subject would stay still long enough.

*meeeeep* wrong ;)

I think I have taken maybe 5 frames with my 2s/p's in program mode over
the
past 15 years or so. That's not why I like it.

What I like is the intuitive viewfinder and continous spot metering in
manual mode. That's how spot-metering imo should work, and not like the
 clumsy fiddle-to-find-another-button on the OM4(Ti).

Yes, I said clumsy....try to use a winder or MD on your OM4, and reach
for
the spot-button. I have big hands, and I don't manage even after years
of
 pratice.

Some swear by the meter of the OM4 - I prefer the 2s/p. anyone wants to
buy
 my hardly used OM4? ;)

Yes, I know......this may be the ultimate blasphemy on this list...
