Ah, the elegance of simplicity. My only concern with this solution would be
the risk of scratching or smudging the negatives when taking the film in and
out of the tube. This could be easily remedied by cutting the tube in half
along the long axis and hinging the two halves so it could be opened. Thanks

negative dryer -- a length of six inch plastic pipe, held to the wall
with a screw. Light bulb at the bottom for heat, thin metal rod to hang
film clips on at the top, mesh over both ends to stop dust.
