Calgary can be pretty red-neck, eg. Our social welfare office had a program
in place to help rid the streets of vagrants. Vagrants were given in
addition to their welfare cheque a one way bus ticket to Vancouver (it is
warmer on the coast) and instructions as to where Stanley Park is and how to
apply for British Columbia welfare!!
