My 50/1.4 is radioactive and has a SN in the 180k's.  It also has fungus in it, 
is in pieces, and is one of those held together with JB Weld or something 
equally hard to get apart.  So, either my lens has had the ring replaced, or 
radioactive 1.4's are quite a bit easier to find than M-lenses.
