The little village of Idaho Falls has a huge celebration on the fourth of
July and the fireworks display is the biggest West of the Mississippi,
according to the news media. A local businessman foots the bill for the
fireworks and it was supposed to cost over $100,000 this year. Every year I
say I'm going to photograph the display and never do. I live on the parade
route and have over 200 people at my house for that event and serve lunch
for about half of them. By night I'm too damned tired to think about any
more "work". Next year I will do it..........tired or not. My new OM-1 went
to Disneyland in 1975 and photographed fireworks there with good results. I
have no idea what I did for exposure.

OK, I finally got my fireworks slides back (a week and a half to
process E6, that seems long?) and have been busy scanning them
in and running them through ImageMagick to scale them down to a
"reasonable size".
