One can regularly see on *bay Tokina and Tamron 17mm 3.5 lenses.
Still hesitating on which one to buy. And also, among the Tamron
ones, the old model (with built-in filters) or the new one (with
tulip hood)?
I am currently leaning towards the old Tamron model, because the new
one only take filters in the hood (and large ones at that: 82mm). But
does the old model have a dedicated hood itself?
Any advice?
I would very much like to buy a 18/3.5 Zuiko, but it's expensive...
and the 21/3.5 will probably be too close in perspective to the
24/2.8 I already have and like a lot. Anyway, ultimately I want'em
all... ;-)
