The problem with digital is:
the P&S digitals are mostly replacements for cheap P&S film cameras; and
so they really can't substitute a good professional SLR in that respect.
The Professional SLR digital cameras on the other hand, are $$$$.
I dumped all of $125 into getting my OM system.. If you can show me
digital results that can match My Om1n + 50mm f1.8 + Velvia, and keep it
under $150, I'll switch to digital today!
That's the point though; it could be better... but at what price tag?
Porsches are great cars; they are FAST... they always cost $$$$
I'm sure Canon digital SLR's are great, but they cost $$$$.. and
besides.. it's a C*non ;-)
