Heh...a few years ago I was in a strip club there with some friends and
one of the guys I was with had a few too many drinks and got into a
brawl with the security at the club, who were giant Maori thugs. I ran
across the street to call the police, hoping to at least save the guy a
trip to the hospital, but none of the shop owners would let me make a
phone call. They said that the police would know the call came from
their shop (I'm still not exactly sure what that means). Colorful
place. ;-)
