And how about the ones who use flash for self - luminous subjects! Or the
ones who see a scene which is all about the light and take a flash pic...
It just goes to show that the vast majority of people who have the means to
put a camera in their hands have no clue about what they are doing, or even
what they are looking at. Unfortunately, with the rise of disposable income,
these people are prepared to spend more to acquire something that they think
will give them better results, hence the current breed of wonderbricks.
BTW could somebody explain to me the point of an SLR with a plastic lens
mount? (or an SLR lens with same). How many lens changes will that survive?
On the subject of disposables, I have had some surprisingly good results
(family snapshot type) from the K*dak underwaters. Great for the beach, and
who cares if it gets stolen. Beats risking the OM.
