Doesn't anybody else sense a story here? Hobbyist spends $100,000 on telescope, dome and related equipment, becomes involved in hobby until it occupies virtually all non-work hours and esp. huge parts of nights and creates troublesome debts. Hobbyist doesn't notice he hasn't seen wife for a couple of days (only a couple??) until process server tracks him down in dome and spoils the seeing by turning on a light. Community property state means half of everything, including astronomy gear, is hers - and she wants cash. Hobbyist ends up with clothes on his back, well used Subaru Outback and 8" Celestron; heads for the Southwest where the seeing is better.

As a foot note, he says he is "moving" and "must sell" Moving up to a larger scope? Crazy to sell after 1 year (all things being equal)

Wow! Take a look at the picture, it looks like he's got a dome for it too...
I think anyone who buys a telescope like this is serious enough to go live
in the wilderness on top of a mountain too...
