I use the 50mm/f2 macro lens more than any other 50mm. I have used the
50/3.5 but I prefer the faster version because it makes critical
focusing easier. Perhaps that is why I got softer images with the
50/3.5. I have all version of the zuiko 50mm's except the 50/3.5, which
I gave to a relative. If I really want to go light, I will take the MIJ
50/1.8 but then I give up macro. Next to the 35-80/2.8, the 50/2 is my
second most used lens.
