There are a number of virus out there that will pick names out of the
computer's adress book. One is used for the 'sender' and one for the
recipient. The person who is infected will not be listed on the e-mail.
(Looking at the complete header may tell you who is actually infected
though.)

You may not actually be infected, even though it appears that your
machine is sending the messages.
