In bright daylight, the meters read the same. BUT, in slightly dimmer
light, mine actually reads a f-stop slower. Also, it's somewhat difficult
to compare, because his will do 1/3rd of a stop and so I can't tell...

Which leads me to the question, how often should I get my meter checked for
accuracy? I find that maybe a spot meter might cure the problem, as there
is often the case I have a subject (in shade) with bright sun in the
background.. Or something to that effect..

My battery is OLD. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try a new one. Cheap $3
fix maybe...
