I just write on the film leader itself with a sharpie. No sticky note to loose.
The sharpie is also great for marking the film canister with a new ASA if I push
the film. I buy most of my film in 36, but some films that I do not use often,
or
for specific subjects I will purchase in 24 exp rolls.
