Re: the smu article is a bit out of date I think as the newer auto-focus 
    cameras are much more accurate. Just look at some of those sport pictures
    taken with canon 1vs and 500/600 mm lenses. You can tell where the focal
    point is pretty easy due to depth of field - seem pretty accurate to me...
