It seems every time I get out the OM to try something new, or that I haven't
done for some time, a learning curve appears again.

A few weeks ago we were on a plane flying out to Greece. Decided to reach
for the OM4 and take a few shots of some reasonably spectacular scenery out
of the window. Previously the OM4 had been used with the winder 2, but this
time I was travelling light. After the first shot I wound the film on, which
was half way through a roll. Well actually, it wasn't. There wasn't a film
in the camera. Thought it wound on a bit too easy. I can't remember what
other once in a lifetime, prize winning shots I had taken on this "roll".
Probably just as well.

Wrong ASA? Been there, done that, as well. When I do it though, it's usually
slide film. Not too forgiving.

Slightly OT, but I am wondering if anyone on the list has used Lyson or
similar Quad black inks for B&W printing, as I am thinking of taking the
plunge by buying the Epson 1160.
